SATURNIN

SATURNIN – the ultimate tool for circular economy. A system for steel scrap re-use in industrial production. We are motivated by the fact that the vehicle car body production utilizes approx. 50% of the input steel, creating around 40 mil tons of steel scrap. SATURNIN finds matches between usable steel scrap and demand for new input material. The system ensures the purchase, inspection, and reprocessing of scrap into low carbon footprint input material, and its shipment to the end customer.

    Mit der servohydraulischen Antriebslösung treibt Bosch Rexroth Nachhaltigkeit und Digitalisierung im Bereich Blechumformung weiter voran. Dank Energie-Rückgewinnung lässt sich die Energieeffizienz von Tiefziehpressen um bis zu 30% steigern. Das modulare Design vereinfacht das Engineering und die Installation für den Maschinenhersteller. Endkunden profitieren zusätzlich von reduziertem Ölvolumen und weniger Bauraum. Bleche werden mit erhöhter Produktivität und Qualität umgeformt und eine erhöhte Datentransparenz öffnet die Tür zum Condition Monitoring.

    With the servo-hydraulic drive solution, Bosch Rexroth is advancing sustainability and digitalization in the sheet metal forming sector. Thanks to energy recovery, the energy efficiency of deep drawing presses can be increased by up to 30%. The modular design simplifies engineering and installation for the machine manufacturer. End customers additionally benefit from reduced oil volume and less space required. Sheets are formed with increased productivity and quality, and enhanced data transparency opens the door to condition monitoring.

BSH Briquetting machines

We are a company with 2 core businesses: one is historical, die componets, the other is more recent and concerns BSH briquetting machines. Our products are a versatile solution to the problem of collecting and processing metal swarf, to reduce the economic impact and transform the waste into a resource.On the production lines of our machine shop we have installed compactors, and we are also powered by a photovoltaic system of around 400 kW. We have also equipped ourselves with a rainwater recirculation system and we use geothermal energy.

SSAB Zero

SSAB Zero is steel made from recycled steel, using electric arc furnaces powered by fossil-free electricity and biogas. SSAB Zero has virtually zero carbon emissions during steel production including purchased energy and transportation (less than 0.05 kg CO2e emissions per kg steel in scope 1 and 2), without mass balancing allocation of emission reduction or carbon emission offsetting. Only recycled steel is used as the raw material, which means SSAB Zero supports the circular economy. SSAB does not engage in carbon emission offsetting activities.

We have launched Zeremis Recycled, a mass balanced product with 30% Recycled Content. We believe circularity is about retaining the value of steel, in turn reducing mining, CO2 emissions, waste, and other environmental impacts. Scrap exported is often downcycled outside of Europe. By utilising this scrap locally we can save scrap from being downcycled. Through this we reduce our need for virgin raw materials. Our high-quality products result in high-quality scrap which we can reclaim at the end of the product’s life. This is crucial to ensure circularity of advanced steels.

Energierückgewinnung mit MOTOMAN Roboter

Kinetische Energie aus Abwärts- und Seitwärtsbewegungen aller MOTOMAN-Roboter ab 35 kg Traglast und Fahrbahnen/Portalen/Positionierern mit der Steuerung YRC1000 werden serienmäßig und ohne zusätzliche Hardware direkt in das Stromnetz zurückgespeist. Eine schlanke und kompakte Bauweise mit geringen bewegten Massen, sowie automatisches Abschalten der Roboter bei Pausen, tragen ebenfalls zur Energieeinsparung bei. Je nach Bewegungsprofil wird dadurch der Energiebedarf des Roboters erheblich reduziert.
