The ‘best-Award 2025’ is now open!

The coveted trade fair award will once again be presented at Blechexpo/Schweisstec in 2025.

A strategic partnership with the Vogel Communications Group has been established once again, which means that the trade media MM MaschinenMarkt and Blechnet are back on board as strong media partners.
The ‘best Award 2025’ honours outstanding innovations in five categories, which are based on the hall layout of the trade fair duo. An expert jury will select the winners, who will be honoured in a festive ceremony on the first day of the trade fair, 21 October 2025.

What are the categories?
The Blechexpo/Schweisstec 2025 will showcase the entire spectrum of thermal and mechanical sheet metal, profile and tube processing from 21 - 24 October 2025. Submit your most innovative product, solution or digitalisation concept for one of the following categories:
- Sheet metal, tube and profile processing (Hall 1, 3, 5, 7)
- Stamping technologies (Hall 4, 6)
- Separating, joining and connecting technologies (Hall 9)
- Press and forming technologies (Hall 8)
- Steel, metal service and surface technology (Hall 10)
What does the application cost?

The application for the best award 2025 at Blechexpo/Schweisstec is free of charge!
Who can apply?

Only exhibitors at Blechexpo/Schweisstec 2025 can apply for the best-Award 2025 at Blechexpo/Schweisstec. The innovation must not be older than 12 months and must already be available for purchase at the time of the trade fair. Development projects will not be considered. A manufacturer may only submit one innovation per category.
What can the innovation refer to?

The innovation must be a completely new product or a further development or improvement that differs significantly from the previous state of the art. The innovation is shown at the trade fair and is not a prototype.
How can you apply?

Please fill in the the online application form in full. As part of your application, you will be asked to provide a detailed and clear description of your development. Describe the outstanding advantages and unique selling points of your solution and, if necessary, upload additional documents and images to explain them. Video material is also possible. We guarantee that all information provided to us will be treated with the utmost confidentiality until the award ceremony.

The closing date for your application is 5 September.
How are the award winners chosen?

Our expert jury - specialist editors from blechnet and MM MaschinenMarkt as well as industry experts - will review and evaluate all application documents.

When will the award ceremony take place?

The winners of the best award will be announced live at Blechexpo/Schweisstec in Stuttgart. The award ceremony will take place on 21 October at 16:00 on the exhibition grounds.
